Archery Parties
Want something different for your next celebration? Try an Archery Party! Birthdays, Church groups, family gatherings, employee retreats. 
An Archery Party is unique way to celebrate a special occasion! As an activity, an archery party is a safe and fun way to enjoy a special day with your friends, relatives, and co-workers. Join Hemlock for an archery party experience! Whether it’s for kids, teens, or adults, the two-hour party will teach the basic skills of the sport while playing games and winning prizes. All equipment is provided. Parties are held at our indoor facility at 99 Spring Hill Lane, Lebanon, PA 17042, and in the future Hemlock may be able to come to your party location too (with a pre-safety screening of the area). Each party-goer will go home with an experience of a lifetime!
What is Provided?
Hemlock Field Archers provides all the required equipment and instruction for an 2 hour Archery Party in an indoor smoke-free shooting range. During the 90 minutes of range time, our USA Archery qualified instructors provide professional coaching and archery range management. Participants are provided with basic archery instruction and taught the range rules. Once the instruction is done, about 15-20 minutes, the instructors control the range so the party participants can have fun! For the last 30 minutes, balloons are provided for the archers to shoot during team games and specialty play. At the end of the range time, the archery tackle is collected and the party participants have access to the party area.
After the range time is completed, you have use of our Party Area for 30 minutes. During the last 15 minutes of the range time, the party coordinators have access to the party area to set-up the space. After your time in the party area, you have 15 minutes to clean up. There is a refrigerator available to store your refreshments while the archery range is being used. Neither flatware nor dishes are available. All food is the responsibility of the group purchasing the party, unless prior arrangements were made with our kitchen to provide food at an extra cost per person… party prizes are also the responsibility of the purchasing group.
Reservations
Reservations are required. We need a four week minimum notification, but the earlier you call, the more chance of reserving your preferred date. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required for booking a party at the time the contract is returned, and the date is not scheduled until your deposit it received. We do ask that if you must cancel a party, please give us at 
least two weeks notice so someone else can use your time slot. Each participant whether a child or adult, is required to fill out a release form to attend. The release forms can be downloaded here or use the link at the bottom of this page. It is best to give each attendee and copy along with their invitation.
Parties are typically held on Saturday or Sunday, but any open week night is fine. On Saturdays and Sundays we schedule parties at 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm. For the week days, Monday through Friday, we can schedule one party per day with start times at either 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm, based on lane availability due to leagues. Special daytime events can also be scheduled with Instructor availability.
Fees
Archery Birthday Party fees are reasonable, with a minimum of $150. If you have up to 10 attendees, the fee is $150 plus $10 for each additional participant to a maximum of 15 shooters or $200.00. Fees are payable upon the start of the party, made payable to Hemlock Field Archers. If you would like to book a smaller private shooting event for your children over 8yrs and immediate family, pricing is $15.00 per person including adults and includes 1 hour of instruction and shooting for up to 6 people. Private lessons are $25.00 per person for 1 hour.
Party Participants
Anyone age 8 years old and up can attend and participate at an Archery Party. There is no upper age limit for participants. The only restriction is that the participant must be able to draw the bow (15 pounds maximum) and follow safety instructions.
We do require someone in the party to act as the party coordinator. This person is responsible for setting up the party area and tidying-up after the party. We do not expect that the party area be spotless after your party, but we do need the party coordinator to clean up their party supplies. If the tables need cleaning after your party, we will take care of that.

Hemlock Field Archers is the largest archery club in Central Pennsylvania. From the humble beginning of just a few members and a small clubhouse grew a well-respected club of over four hundred members. The Hemlock Archer’s Club of today can be attributed to the dedication, hard work and love of archery by past and present members. Located just south of Lebanon, we offer indoor target shooting as well as an outdoor course. We hold target and 3D shooting events throughout the year. 
We also have a JOAD (Junior Olympic archery development) program for young archers, wanting to learn more about the sport of archery..
